Elk Hunts
Turret Creek Outfitters offers an unforgettable Elk hunt based out of Wyoming. Wyoming is known for the best balance of quality and quantity when it comes to elk hunting. These Elk hunts can be very demanding and good physical condition will be in your best interest if you want to harvest a mature bull. These Elk hunts take place in the rugged Rocky Mountains and clients must be able to ride a horse and that includes mounting and dismounting by themselves, hiking in the rugged Rocky Mountains, and taking instruction from guides. Clients unable or unwilling to perform the tasks required will greatly reduce the chances to harvest an elk.
We offer the following Elk Hunt opportunities:
Camp Style hunts:
Pack in camp Consists of a 7-day elk hunt in elk area 27 & 99. These areas are in south end of the Wind River Mountains and the hunt will be conducted on horseback in National Forest and Wilderness land. The hunter to guide ratio is 1:1. This hunt is typically scheduled for Archery in September and rifle in October Cost $10,000*
Cody Lodge Hunt: Consists of a 7 day elk hunt in the general area. The guide to hunter ratio is 1:1. This hunt is typically scheduled in late October- early December. Areas 53, 55, 56, 59 Cost $12,000*
Cow Elk Hunt: Consists of a 4-day elk hunt, with a variety of hunt options i.e. horseback, side by side, or vehicle. These hunts are offered in many areas across Wyoming. The hunter to guide ratio is 2:1. Contact us of more details. Cost $4,000*
Private and BLM Lodge Hunt: Consists of a 5 day lodge style elk hunt in area 47. The hunt is conducted on a mixture of BLM and private land. The hunter to guide ratio is 2:1. Cost $7,000*

Deer Hunts
Cody Wyoming is habitat to rocky mountain Mule Deer. This is not tree stand hunt, this is a traditional spot and stock style hunt. The hunt will be a mixture of horseback and hiking, these mule deer hunts can be very demanding and good physical condition will be in your best interest if you want to harvest an older mature mule deer buck.
We offer the following Deer Hunt opportunities:
Region F: Consists of a 5-day lodge style, wilderness horseback hunt with hunter to guide ratio of 2:1. This hunt is typically scheduled November 2nd thru November 6th Cost $6,000*
Area 110 Type 1: Consists of a 5-day lodge style, wilderness horseback hunt with guide to hunter ratio of 1:1. Season is open November 1-20 scheduling is flexible. Cost $7,500*

Bighorn sheep Hunts

Areas 4,5,9,10: Consist of a 10-day wilderness, horseback spike camp style hunt. The hunter to guide ratio is 1:1. Cost $15,000*
Areas 2, 3: Consists of a 10-day wilderness horseback hunt. This hunt can be done lodge or spike camp style depending on hunter preference. The hunter to guide ratio is 1:1. Cost $15,000*

Pronghorn Antelope
Turret Creek Outfitters offers antelope hunts in many areas across Wyoming. We offer town hunts** for our pronghorn antelope. Our antelope hunts take place on a mixture of private and public land.
We offer the following Pronghorn Antelope Hunt opportunities:
Antelope Areas: 64, 65, 66, 75,77, 78, 80, 81: These hunts consists of a 3 day town hunt with a hunter to guide ratio of 2:1. Dates are mid-September to end of October Cost $4,000*

Moose Hunts
